Welcome to the Suwanee Creek Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Located in northern Gwinnett County, Georgia, our chapter includes members from Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Buford, and surrounding communities. We bring together women who share an interest in history, genealogy, community service, and the enduring story of America’s founding.

Through historic preservation, education, patriotism, and service, our members care for local history, support students and veterans, participate in community programs, and help families explore their American Revolutionary-era ancestry. Along the way, we learn from one another and form friendships rooted in shared purpose.

DAR welcomes women age 18 and older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can document lineal descent from an ancestor who aided the cause of American independence.

Guests are always welcome at our chapter meetings and community activities. We meet on the second Monday evening of each month, September through May, and our members stay active throughout the year through service projects, patriotic programs, historic preservation, and local events.

Founded in 1890, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization dedicated to historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Through chapters across the United States and around the world, DAR members preserve historic places and records, support education, honor veterans, and serve their communities.
